Welcome to 8th Grade English
Hello students and parents!
My name is Mr. Kenny, and I have been teaching English at Cardigan since June of 2000. This year I will be teaching three sections of 8th grade English. I also coach rock climbing in the fall and the spring, and I supervise the pickle ball club and driving range club in the spring, too.
I met my wife, Rose, while rock climbing, and we married in June of 2012 in the Cardigan Mountain School chapel. We have two mini schnauzers Gordo (9) and Raven (4), and they love to join us on our adventures.
I grew up in northern New York and have spent time living in California and Colorado. I now live a short drive from campus in a home we built in 2010. I look forward to updating this page with information relevant to my classes.

Tip: Staying organized, working diligently and having a positive attitude goes a long way in my class. Another tip is to utilize daytime study halls and come prepared with questions about your assignments.
